Who AI names for injury lawyers in Orlando

We asked ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity the questions an injured person asks before calling a lawyer, three times each on October 18, 2026, and counted every firm the answers named. We also checked whether each of the metro's 20 most-reviewed injury firms came back. Public sources and our own testing. No firm took part or shared anything with us.

8 of 20

of the metro's most-reviewed injury firms were on none of the four lists, for any kind of case we asked about.

5

firms were on all four lists, for every kind of case we asked about.

70

firms and attorneys were named across 72 answers. 4 of them came up in half or more of a list's answers.

By the reason you're calling

Four lists: who AI names for each kind of case.

Two questions per list, each on ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity three times: 18 answers behind every list, 72 in all, asked on October 18, 2026. Every firm named is counted. The general question is one list; the specialty lists are where the picture changes. The monthly-change column fills in from the second report.

Frequency, not quality: a count is how many of the 18 answers named the firm. Not a ranking of lawyers; firms with the same count share a number. Firms that never appeared are not listed by name. Dots: ChatGPT (navy), Gemini (blue), Perplexity (green).

The names that came back

Firms the engines named, counted across all 72 answers.

Each answer could name several firms. The count is the number of answers, out of 72, in which the name appeared. Frequency, not quality: a count is not a ranking of lawyers and says nothing about any firm's results or reputation. It measures what the engines said on October 18, 2026.

Spelling variants of one firm are combined under one common form of its name, with punctuation normalised. Where an answer ties an attorney to a firm, the attorney is counted under that firm; other attorneys are listed by name. Directory names (Avvo, Super Lawyers, Justia, FindLaw) and generic phrases the engines produced are left out.

What the engines said

The general questions, and how each engine opened its answer.

The opening lines of the first answer each engine gave to the general questions on October 18, 2026, shown as a sample, with links and formatting removed. The names each answer went on to give are counted above rather than reprinted here. Answers vary from run to run and from one phrasing to the next; ask the same question on your phone and you may get a different list, which is the point.

These are AI outputs reproduced for measurement. VisibleRev has not verified any statement in them, is not a law firm or a lawyer referral service, and does not recommend any firm.

Asked as: best personal injury attorney in Orlando FL

ChatGPT

There isn’t an objective “best” personal-injury lawyer—it depends on your injury and case. For a serious or complex injury in Orlando, I’d start by consulting Melvin B. Wright at Colling Gilbert Wright: the Florida Bar lists him as board-certified in Civil Trial Law. The answer names 3 firms in all.

Gemini

When looking for the best personal injury attorney in Orlando, FL, the "right" choice often depends on the specifics of your case (e.g., car accident, medical malpractice, slip and fall, or wrongful death) and whether you prefer a large, high-volume firm with heavy advertising or a smaller, boutique firm offering more hands-on … The answer names 7 firms in all.

Perplexity

There isn’t one objectively “best” personal injury attorney in Orlando based on these results; the strongest way to choose is to compare firms with recognized rankings, local presence, and a consultation process that fits your case. … The answer names 5 firms in all.

Asked as: who should I hire for a personal injury attorney in Orlando FL

ChatGPT

I wouldn’t pick from billboard rankings alone. For a serious or complex injury, put at least one Orlando trial-focused firm on your shortlist—such as Leighton Law—and compare it with two other firms that handle your specific kind of case. … The answer names 1 firm in all.

Gemini

Choosing the right personal injury attorney in Orlando depends heavily on the specifics of your case (e.g., car accident, medical malpractice, slip and fall, truck wreck). Orlando has several highly rated, reputable law firms and individual trial lawyers. The answer names 6 firms in all.

Perplexity

If you want a strong shortlist for a personal injury attorney in Orlando, FL, start with firms and lawyers that appear in recognized rankings or local attorney directories, then verify fit through consultations and case experience. … The answer names 6 firms in all.

The board and the answer

For less than the cost of one billboard, a firm can be the name the AI gives at the decision point.

Legal is the largest billboard category in America and grew 21% in 2025. In Orlando, outdoor is 27.6% of all local advertising, the second-highest share of any top-30 market. A static bulletin here averages $7,950 for four weeks: a sign on the side of the road that a driver may or may not see on the way to work, and may never recall. On the same day the boards were up, 8 of the metro's 20 most-reviewed injury firms were on none of the four lists when a person asked an AI which lawyer to call, at the moment they were choosing.

OAAA year-end release (March 2026) and local-market report (April 2026); Blue Line Media Orlando rate page (2026). Billboards work and are measured; this page is about where the next dollar goes.

How we did it

The method, and what this page is not.

Method

  • Eight questions for Orlando, two per reason for calling: personal injury, general, truck and commercial vehicle, motorcycle, and wrongful death and medical malpractice.
  • Each question on ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity, three times, asked fresh each time: 72 answers on one day each month. The latest run was October 18, 2026.
  • Every firm an answer names is counted once per answer, wherever in the answer it appears. Spelling variants are merged under one common form of the name. Where an answer ties an attorney to a firm, the attorney is counted under that firm; other attorneys are listed by name. Directory names and generic phrases are left out.
  • The 20 most-reviewed injury firms in the Orlando metro with 100 to 1,500 Google reviews, from public listings, are checked against every list. Firms over 1,500 reviews are counted where they appear but tagged.
  • Perplexity's answers are grounded in its own web search results for the question. Where an answer is quoted, it is the first run's answer, opened.

What this is not

  • Not a ranking of lawyers, and not a statement about any firm's quality, results, or reputation. It records what three AI assistants said on one day.
  • Not a prediction. Engine answers change with the day, the phrasing, the account, and the location.
  • Not the full audit. A firm's own audit runs thirty-plus questions on four engines, including Google's AI Overviews and the branded “is this firm any good?” question.
  • Nothing here was paid for or influenced by any law firm, directory, or engine.
Who makes this

VisibleRev, Clermont, Florida.

We run a managed service that gets established, owner-led companies named in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini answers and keeps them there, week after week. Two founders, one from hotel revenue management and one from network infrastructure, running it in-house. This report is the same measurement we run for clients, published one metro at a time so the market can see what the engines say. We are a marketing vendor, not a law firm, and we don't recommend or refer lawyers to anyone.
